Assistant Production Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Production Planning and Scheduling:
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and company targets.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure timely availability of raw materials and resources.
  • Monitor production progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet production targets.
  1. Team Management:
  • Lead and manage production teams, including recruitment, training development, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and high performance within the production department.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and other departments.
  1. Process Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and industry standards to optimize production processes.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  1. Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure that all production activities comply with relevant safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Promote a safety-first culture within the production team.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management, emissions, and hazardous materials handling.
  1. Resource Management:
  • Manage the use of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize production efficiency.
  • Oversee the maintenance of production equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
  • Prepare and present production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  1. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities, quality control, and compliance.
  2. Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum Degree (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.)
  2. Proven experience in a production management role, with a track record of successfully managing production teams and processes.
  3. Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and best practices.
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in production management software (e.g., ERP systems, MES).
  6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  7. Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental compliance.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

 

Supervisor (Production Dept)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Organize, supervise, and train subordinates to ensure the smooth daily operation of all Shearing Lines/ Slitting Lines / Leveller to meet the company’s production schedules and targets.
  2. Ensure that the Shearing Lines/ Slitting Lines/ Leveller run efficiently at the optimum speed.
  3. Control and assure the quality of all products rolling out from the production floor.
  4. Conduct regular inspections of finished products and adjust processes as necessary to maintain high-quality outputs.
  5. Address any defects or non-conformities in the production process promptly.
  6. Assign tasks, manage shift schedules and ensure optimal staffing levels.
  7. Oversee the setup, operation and maintenance of slitting and shearing machines to ensure they run efficiently.
  8. Monitor production activities to ensure daily and weekly production targets are met.
  9. Ensure proper loading, cutting, and shearing of materials in accordance with production specifications and procedures.
  10. Enforce safety procedures and protocols.
  11. Complete and maintain accurate records of necessary documentation related to machine operation, quality control, and safety.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized production area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  13. Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum Diploma.
  2. Any Professional Certificate is an added advantage.
  3. Minimum Diploma with 6 years of experience in a slitting & shearing or similar production environment.
  4. Possess leadership qualities.
  5. Experience in cold-rolling profile sections or metal shearing/slitting operations is an added advantage.

 

Operator (Production Dept)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in operating machine and ensure the smooth daily operations of Automatic Hydraulic Shear/ Slitting Lines/ Leveller/ Shearing Lines as directed to meet the company’s production schedules and targets.
  2. Perform routine maintenance on machine including cleaning, lubricating and replacing worn or damaged parts.
  3. Execute duties efficiently in accordance with company procedures.
  4. Coordinate with maintenance personnel for more complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
  5. Control and assure quality of all products rolling out from the section.
  6. Record and report any quality issues or discrepancies to the Production Leader and Supervisor.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
  8. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Production Leader and Supervisor immediately.
  9. Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum SPM.
  2. Candidates with a minimum SPM qualification are welcome to apply, and experience with Shearing, Slitter, or Leveller machines is preferred.
  3. Able to follow established procedures and protocols.

 

Intern

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the department in day-to-day operations and administrative tasks.
  2. Support team projects and assignments as directed by supervisors.
  3. Conduct research, prepare reports, and help in documentation as needed.
  4. Participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and team discussions.
  5. Learn and apply industry-related knowledge and skills relevant to the department.
  6. Ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain confidentiality of company information and adhere to company policies.
  8. Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  1. At least 3 – 6 months internship period.
  2. Required Skill(s): Independent, good interpersonal skill, good command in English & Bahasa, MS Office.
  3. Strong sense of responsibility, independent, able to multitask and attention to details.
  4. Finance / Business Administrator/ Human Resource/ Business Management.
  5. Environmental, Health and Safety, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferably or related course.

 

Production Planner (Administrator)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work directly with the team to drive continuous improvement and propose methods to achieve goals (save time, increase capacity, reduce human errors etc) based on a structured and system-based continuous data analysis process.
2. Analyze, improve, and manage processes within Sales and Operations, incorporating information and input from other departments. Analyze problems and implement appropriate countermeasures and solutions.
3. Strong attention to detail with ability to produce accurate and quality work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
4. Highly developed reasoning capabilities, analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to break down strategic problems.
5. Involve in production Work Order Sheet (WOS) write-up and production planning.
6. Maximize material usage by developing efficient processes and minimizing waste.
7. Optimize machine capacity and utilization by effectively scheduling and coordinating production activities.
8. Monitor progress and performance against plans, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives and deadline.
9. Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum of diploma in Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
3. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Must be a strong team player with ability to analyse and focus on daily results.
5. Desired skills: data analysis tools such as Power BI, coding language such as SQL.

Purchasing Clerk

Job Responsibilities:

1. Administrative & Filing Support:
· Assist in filing of purchase records, invoices, and delivery documents.
· Help organize and maintain physical and digital files for audit readiness.
2. Basic Data Entry:
· Input simple data into Excel tracking sheets (e.g., stationery usage, delivery dates).
· Update records for goods received and basic inventory movement.
3. Stationery & Inventory Control:
· Monitor and check stock levels of stationery, pantry items, PPE, office supplies and etc.
· Report low stock items to senior clerks or officers.
· Coordinate with Admin team for replenishment and delivery of consumables.
4. Excel Reporting & Data Entry:
· Prepare monthly Excel reports such as:
– Purchase Order summary & aging.
– Stationery and pantry usage.
– Indirect material consumption.
– Supplier performance (on-time delivery, pricing).
– Assist in maintaining vendor databases, item master lists, and internal tracking logs.
5. Document Handling:
· Support printing, scanning, and photocopying tasks.
· Assist in document submission between departments.
· Help prepare purchase request forms or Purchase Order.
· Perform follow-ups with suppliers on delivery.
· Prepare and organize documents for internal and external audits.
6. Ad-Hoc Support Duties:
· Assist other purchasing team members as backup when needed.
· Run simple errands or assist in minor department tasks when needed.
· Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Technician (Electrical)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose electrical issues including short circuits, electrical faults and malfunctioning control systems to enhance the reliability and performance of electrical equipment.
2. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems and equipment such as inspecting wiring, testing circuits, and replacing components as needed.
3. Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to accurately diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
4. Install and configure electrical wiring, control panels, and instrumentation by ensuring proper connections and adherence to safety standards.
5. Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on electrical components including motors, generators, and circuit breakers.
6. Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations to maintain safety and legal compliance.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum Technical Certificate (Certificate in Electrical or Electronic is preferred)

Technician (Mechanical)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular maintenance and emergency repairs on steel manufacturing machinery, including furnaces, rolling mills, conveyors, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
2. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new plant equipment, ensuring correct setup and integration with existing systems.
3. Provide specialized knowledge and support for maintenance, repair and optimization of mechanical systems and machinery within the plant.
4. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify problems and implementing solutions to restore equipment functionality.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including repair logs, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment performance data to ensure compliance with standards and facilitate future troubleshooting.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum Technical Certificate (Certificate in Mechanical is preferred)
2. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
3. Able to execute tasks safely at elevated level.
4. Possess troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
5. Proficient in using arc and oxygen welding for repairs.
6. Knowledge in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Warehouse Assistant (Engineering Store)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of spare parts, hand tools, powered tools and consumables used in maintenance activities.
2. Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment of maintenance supplies.
3. Assist in coordinating with the Purchasing Department for the procurement of direct and indirect materials required for maintenance operations.
4. Report procurement needs and material shortages to immediate superior for coordination with the Purchasing Department.
5. Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming materials and parts to ensure it matches the order specifications and in good condition.
6. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by ensuring that all items are properly stored and easily accessible.
7. Adhere to safety protocols for the handling and storage of tools and materials to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum SPM
2. Strong organizing skills to manage and store inventories.
